"About a year ago, I discoverd tomatoes. Tomatoes, as most people know, is a vital part of BLT's which is why it earns a spot in the title of the food. B stands for Bacon, L stands for Lettuce, and T stands appropriately for tomato. Previous to last March, I had only ever had BL's. I was prejudice against the T, and gave it little respect. My predisposed feelings were ungrounded however, and I now proudly flaunt tomatoes on most sandwiches. Tonight Mein Kyle made BLT's for supper and they rocked. "

Tom... I also have had a very similar development in the pleasures of my taste buds. I know love tomatos!! and yet I think we had the worst timing in our this new found pleasure because they were really expesive for a while! This was because of the damage done by hurricanes...
Over Christmas break I made a trip to Wendy's with My Friends Dan De Boer and Paul Terpstra and I ordered the usual junior bacon cheeseburger, from the dollar menu of course. I along with my good pals noticed a sign on the counter that said that they would no longer be putting tomatoes on there burgers unless they are specaily asked for because the hurracanes had caused a great shortening in the supply of tomatoes making pore quality and more expensive (maybe not these exact words). Well, I didn't ask for them specailly but wished that I had because this new found pleasure really left me craving more and more. But, God was looking out for me (and my friend Paul), Paul had asked specailly for tomatoes on his junior bacon cheeseburger and they actually gave him two generous slices (I Love Wendy's) so Paul was nice enough to give me one of the slices.
