So This Past Weekend was really awesome with the middle schoolers. I had lots of fun and lots of sugar (which I had a headache from on Monday, and then threw up from Monday night - it was kind of like a vegtable stew). But I got to really build some great relationships with kids and with leaders. I love my other leaders so much!!! I got to see some amazing sides of them. We had great cabin times that were really vulnerable (ok, I wasn't as vulnerable as I could have been.) So I thought that we really had a successful weekend that we got to explore Jesus and peanut M & M's.
I really want to write a lot of follow up letters to leaders and students yet this week because I know how important that is and how much I put that on a back burner.
Also, I am pretty sure that I will be coming out to Dordt the week of their Graduation April 30 - May 7. I said I would come back some time this year, and I want to stick to my word! and I want to see so many of you out there!

Woohoo!! Can't wait for you to come Mike! It'll be great!
Mike! Sounds like you had a great time - although the description of the puke wasn't needed! ;-) lol Anyways, take care!
I think that Youth Pastors must run on Energizer batteries. After working with youth all summer long last year, I was pooped. Loved most minutes of it, but definitely was exhausted. I can't imagine doing it for an extended period of time without burning out. I'm proud of you, Mike E!
