Back From Iowa

It was a great week talking to lots of great people at Dordt. Students, Faculty, Staff, Parents, Siblings, pets (really I talked to some cool dogs). The week was really really awesome.
It started off wonderful with Superman picking me up from the airport and then we headed right to his youth group. Which was an awesome awesome time I have to say. His kids were awesome and they were really having a great time and showed so much of Christ's love to each other. WOW.
Yeah then I was getting really really tired and still wanted to see lots of people and did for a little while. And was acting drunk because I was so tired. But yeah the week was filled with just great conversations and fun times and story swappy and future plans dreaming. What an Awesome place to vacation, where the the friends and flowing like honeywise and milkshakes. I went out to eat a good number of times as well. I don't want to make this too long...
but Andrew and Morgan dropped me off at the airport Saturday night which was a lot of fun talking to them. And in Ohare where I had my layover I started reading an awesome book by John Piper called Don't Waste Your Life (which we are giving to our graduates at Church this year, and the pastor quoted randomly from in his sermon Sunday morning when he didn't know we were giving those away) Well I didn't make it to my church Sunday mornig to hear him because I got Bumped from my flight Saturday night. AWESOME. So they put me in a hotel (worth $250/night) and gave me a voucher for a free flight to use within the next year (priceless...kind of) And it worked out better because my family didn't have to pick me up at 11:30 at night but instead 10:30 in the morning. So back to work...
