Planning Week

So This week has been really great and gone by really fast because of it.

Monday... I remembered those that sacrifices a lot to give us freedoms. This was tough for me to realize that the memorial day was about that and not about American suprimacy. I had a good conversation with someone from church Sunday about me hearing all of these Partiotic songs in church and thinking we are to be loyal to the Kingdom of God first, not the Kingdom of America first. It was a good conversation where this friend helped refocus my thoughts to remembering those that have sacrificed to give us freedom. So Monday I was at Hamilton's memorial parade and ceremony in the morning which I appreciated. Then I got to hang out with my friend Nick, all afternoon talking, playing frolf, and going to the beach. And then I joined family and friends for a good ol cook out at my aunt and uncles.

Tuesday... I had a Hamilton Area Youth Ministries meeting from 8:30am - 4pm. It was really good and we got some great things on paper for the coming year. I also got to go to a Young Life donors appreciation dinner at a really fancy restaurant; not because of my great donations, but because I work with Young Life. It was a really awesome good time and hearing my friends share some updates of the year was really awesome. Because it was all about the interactions with kids and relationships that were built with them.

Wednesday... Had breakfast meeting with the Young Life Friends. Went to lunch at school. Went golfing in the afternoon with the Young Life friends. and then was at church and in Holland with a student all night. Good times.

Today... I went to a Young Life staff meeting and talked about Blessing people and other awesome things. Came back to church for Staff meeting which was fun. Then Went to school High school and middle for lunches. It was really good and had great conversations. One about if there is a God.Then I have been in the office all afternoon doing different followup ups, and planning. I need to get home and eat something so I can go to school tonight to the Hamilton Film Festival. See all of students work. I am excited for that.
