So as I am trying to still trying to see the nearness of the Kingdom
of Heaven here and now with the presence of God here on Earth, my Grandpa finally gets to experience God's full presence in Heaven. My Grandpa passed away Saturday morning after a long life of 84 years; we got to celebrate his 84th birthday two weeks ago with so many of the family. It is awesome to think about my Grandpa Fred Vandenberg in Heaven with my Uncle Fred Vandenberg
who died 23 years ago (a month after I was born). My grandpa was excited to see him again. And my Grandma who is still alive is now able to move on after taking care of grandpa for so long. Everyone was ready and so this is a joyous time to remember Grandpa and hang with the family. It will still be a long couple of days for my family so if you could remember to please pray for us as we have visitation tonight, tomorrow and funeral on Tuesday.

Mike you are in our families thoughts and prayers. I just wnat to tell you what a strong heart you have to have the peace you do. I love the pictures you have posted of him, he sure looked like an interesting man. God Bless and always remember we see God at his highest when we are at our lowest.
