FUN and CANDY

Hello Beautiful People! (Hello Mike!)
So Today is a great day. I have just been sitting around tonight with some great friends in Holland at the Hope Home and relaxing, listening, talking, reading, writing, getting frustrated, getting excited... you know shooting the breeze. I wore a big dread lock wig with a cool Jamaican looking hat most of the day today while I was at the office, at school, at the store, at meetings, because it is Halloween and it is about FUN and CANDY!!! Getting dressed up is FUN!
Well, again lots of things have been going on, but I am making sure that I spend more time doing nothing at all and just being. Life goes to fast, God speaks to us in the silence. Last Saturday I slept most of the day. aaaaahhhhh (pause) aaaaahhhhh. I need the rest to be able to listen to God also.
Last week Thursday the kids didn't have school so I made a Pizza Ranch run with 5 of my kids who have never been to a Pizza Ranch before. So we drove 50 mins to Muskegan to go to the newer Ranch. It was a great time with great food and great friends.
Friday I drove with other youth group leaders to Indiana for lunch meeting up with another one of our partners from there. It was good also. Then I went to my Aunt Nancy and talked for a while and then to Resurrection Life Church where I interned 4 years ago. There was a concert (Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson) and I helped direct traffic which was really a lot of fun. And it was awesome to see a lot of my friends there that I don't get to see much.
So many other FUN things have happened: youth groups, phone calls from long lost friends, watching good movies, dinner with family...

The FUN continues... Tomorrow Night is the SWITCHFOOT concert here at Hope College. Oh Yeah!... This weekend is the 3rd of 3 Fall youth retreats this year. I am really excited about this. Good Stuff... Till next time ya'all...
