So there has been a lot of struggles in my life lately and I want to share one of them. Do you ever ask yourself if the world is against you? Well when it rains it pours. To lighten the mood a little bit I want to share the funny side of this. I was walking downtown Holland yesterday with some really good friends from Hope College to go out for lunch. As we came up to the JPs coffee shop on our way to Subs-n-More, while walking down the sidewalk, I happened to be walking right under the edge of the awning without knowing it. Just like we have always imagined or seen in the movies a big snow slide from the awning fell on my head. My "friends" laughed really hard at me and so did a bunch of people inside of the coffee shop that saw it happen. I laughed pretty hard as well; it made the day for a lot of us.

I can imagine it. I would have laughed too. With you, of course, not at you...I think.
This new blog design makes me like you 10 times as much.

Mike. Summer is the best. I hear it rains until April, but when I interviewed here in early may this year it was completely perfect.
You're welcome at all times! And you have a place to stay here...
Define irony... One time I was sitting in the grill area at Dordt watching big snow drifts fall off of the room at the gym. Later that day I was walking beneath that roof and got a nailed by an unexpected avalanche of snow.
