So there is a lot of thoughts and ideas about life and my future, and there are so many things that are involved in those two topics, that are going through my head lately through great conversations and from spending a lot of time reflecting. I would love to spend lots of time sharing about many of the things but right now I want to give a little update on what I am DOing.
I am really still doing a lot of the same things I was doing while working at the church. I am still ministering to many of the friends I have in Hamilton, spending lots of time at schools, spending time with young life programs, spending time with Hamilton Area Youth Ministries *HAYM*... I also started class again, I am an official student with an ID and all at Western Theological Seminary. I am taking one class in Spiritual Formation and I love it... I am also looking at getting paid to take a be involved in medical study experiments, which would mean living at a research clinic for nine days in Feb... I am trying to figure out some traveling plans to Dordt and Washington... I am starting to send out resumes to different jobs around the country... I am trying to spend a lot of time with family and friends... and spending a lot of time reflecting getting to know myself, God and His creation more. Well that is just a little bit of my life now. Take Care and feel free to write or call me I have a good amount of time to share more and would love to hear about what you are up to. With peace and love

Hey Mike!
I hope things are going well. I know you said you learned a lot over the past couple months, but I'm sure the transition is still hard. I am looking toward transition of my own in the next year and that is pretty scary at times--even though it is still 8 months away! But I am confident that Fuller has prepared me well for whatever task comes next.
Rayven and I are doing great. Life is tough sometimes, but we have the best community ever and people that LOVE us so much and whom we LOVE so much and they bless us continually, so there is really no complaint we have that stays on our lips for very long.
I'm confident you'll find a great place to live and serve. In the meantime, enjoy Western--the "runner-up" in my own seminary search.
Be Blessed,
Christy
Yay! you're coming to Dordt! (or at least trying to) Don't come till March, ok? It would be sad if I didn't get to see you.
