4Ds of Devils Work

So one of the enlightening things that I learned this past week that makes tons of sense and connects a lot of dots for me, came from a conversation with some people that have experienced a lot of stumbling blocks in our work in the church. It came from one of my friends Dean who gets to see many people get Set Free in Christ, he helps people battle a lot of Spiritual Warfare in their lives. I don't know how much you think about Spiritual Warfare but it is Real, and my friend Dean was talking to a woman who was set free from Witchcraft, she was a witch. She told him that when witches see effective Christian ministry happening in their areas they always pray and do their Satanic rituals asking for the 4Ds to happen in those ministries.

1) Deception
2) Division
3) Distraction
4) Discouragement

The first three lead to the forth. Does this ring any bells for people of what they see or have seen happen in your churches? I sure have a lot! We have to be aware of the another side trying to Discourage us. When will see this happening we need to rebuke the demons in Jesus name. Just look at how much Jesus had to do this during His ministry. Just think today about stupid things that we get divided and distracted by. Distracted from sharing Christ's love to others. I have seen people get divided over what kind of song book to use in church, and what style of music, and what time! God doesn't care about this, this is just personal preference not Biblical truth issues! This is the devil distracting us and dividing us.
Also to look at this from the positive side of things. If you are experiencing any of these 4Ds that might be because there are people and demons being threatened by your ministry. You are getting too close to the truth, too close to making a big difference. If you are not experiencing suffering in these ways maybe it is because you are not a threat. Maybe not, but one thing I have learned is that I don't pray for the pain to go away, I pray for the strength and the comfort, because I know through the trials I will be made stronger! Crazy thoughts, unless you have expereinced this yourself. I look and struggles and pain differently. James 1:2-18 Get your Bibles out and read it, memorize it, claim it, I encourage you.
