Castle on Lake Michigan

I slept in a castle last night with some awesome people (Young Life Staff from the Region). It was a really good time of worship, sharing stories, meditating on scripture, and playing games and eating. It was a lot of fun encouraging and inspiriing.
We are going to be encouraging all involved in Young Life to read through the whole Bible this coming year and for some of it we will be having different public readings. We did the public readings at Dordt a couple of times and that is really cool. The hope of reading through the whole Bible with lots of people is to get people to be familiar with the many stories. When you read the whole thing we will be able to see the whole of the story more. Instead of just picking aparts bits and pieces. I have not read the Bible cover to cover yet but am excited to do so.
So back to my story. Right after I got back from the Young Life Staff Retreat I had to go to the middle school and gather 60 students to go the Craig's Cruisers (The Family Fun Center) It was a lot of fun and I ate a lot of food at there pretty good buffet. Now I am back and calling a few kids about washing cars tomorrow morning to raise some funds for Castaway Camp this summer. And then I am off to a bon fire at my friend Joel's and I get to meet his girlfriend for the first time. Sweet so have a great weekend ya'all!!!
