Graduation Week

So It has been the week of grad for Hamilton High School. It started Sunday when I got to speak a little bit at the Baccalaureate Service which was a really great experience. I was honored to assist everyone in worshiping our God. Hamilton is a public school and about 165 of 175 students were at this service which is pretty amazing I think.
There was tons of things to be at this week also with sports events and other gatherings. I went to Senior Awards night on Tuesday which was a lot of fun but really long because Hamilton has too many smart kids this year to recognize.
Then Graduation was suppose to be last night but got pushed to tonight because of a Tornado Watch. I think that is pretty ridiculous! I know that is protocol, but really tornado watches don't mean anything anymore. Tornado warnings now a days only mean that the clouds are close to being funneling. It was pretty erie last night, not because of the weather because it was the most beautiful night ever, but because I didn't know that graduation was cancelled and I showed up at school and know one was there and there was just notes on the entrances saying that graduation was canceled and moved to tonight. It didn't say why though. I was thinking it was a bomb treat or something. So I made some calls and found out the news.
But tonight at grad was really great. It was awesome to see that at this public school the students prayed to open and close the ceremony and the students that spoke mentioned the importance of faith in Christ. Good stuff! IT was also really sweet to see the grads through their hats up in the air and then tons and tons of silly string. Sweet well that's all for now will grad week. Just open houses to go to now.
